Thousands of threads (1) stabilize the walls of the TAMI dog crate. Air pressure maintains the crate's shape and gives it a flexibility and springiness that we call an airbag function, protecting the dog in the event of sudden braking, a sharp turn, or, in the worst case, a collision. Should the dog be thrown against the crate wall, the inner wall gives way, and the threads collapse like miniature springs. They then return to their original shape, and the crate regains its normal form.
A special multi-layered lamination (2) creates a robust, airtight outer wall. A special film protects the top PVC layer from UV radiation. The interior of the Tami dog crate contains no metal, only a soft, skin- and fur-friendly protective surface. Naturally, the dog crate has fastening options to ensure secure anchoring in the vehicle. The zipper can be locked with a clever system, preventing the dog from escaping. Another safety feature is the emergency exit. In the event of an accident, if the tailgate of the vehicle becomes jammed, this allows the dog to be freed from inside the vehicle. A large mesh panel all around the crate provides excellent ventilation.
