Ultimate safety for your four-legged friend

TAMI dog crate impresses in crash test:

We commissioned a comprehensive crash test at the DTC – Dynamic Test Center in Switzerland ( https://www.dtc-ag.ch/ ). We simulated a typical setup: a TAMI trunk box behind the rear seat and a TAMI backseat box on a three-section rear seat. Dummies weighing approximately 20 kg and 23 kg respectively were used at a speed of 50 km/h.

Result: The TAMI dog crate passed the crash test with flying colors! The video, filmed with a front-facing camera, clearly shows the body of the dog dummy. At the moment of impact, the dummy slams into the air-filled wall of the crate and is completely enclosed, much like an airbag.

Every dog owner in Germany is legally obligated to secure their dog in the vehicle in such a way that it does not become a projectile in the event of emergency braking or a sudden evasive maneuver. How this is achieved is left to the individual dog owner's discretion. Most standard transport crates on the market reliably secure the dog so that it does not become a dangerous projectile in the event of an accident.

The potential risk of injury to the dog is rarely mentioned! Our approach with the inflatable TAMI dog box was to protect not only the people in the car, but above all the dog.
